Two weeks of Alex and Izzie being cute and sweet and happy together, only to be destroyed by the re-emergence of Shonda Rhimes' undead obsession - Denny. *insert gagging noise here*

Seriously? Seriously. You have got to be kidding me. He is dead. DEAD. This is not Halloween, and this is not a sci-fi series. This is an Emmy-nominated, Golden-Globe-winning drama series that owes its fans something better than this. We dealt with the aftermath of Denny already. Izzie grieved. She came back to work, she moved on (to George, but even that seems like a step up from this nightmare) and she became healthy enough to help Alex through his personal tragedy. She's supposed to be over Denny! I know I am.

I don't know where this is going, but all possible scenarios point downhill. Good luck getting "Seattle Grace" up from its #12 ranking as a "teaching hospital"; if the teaching in the hospital is supposed to be a parallel for the writing of the series, SGH's glory days are long gone.
