نص الخبر :
WALL-E to be first Arabic-localized game on current gen systems
WALL-E, aside from probably being the biggest family movie of the year, is also making waves in the video game industry by being the first localized video game to hit the current generation of consoles in the Middle East. THQ and Pluto Games revealed that the movie's tie-in game will actually have versions released in Arabic in an effort to appeal to gamers around the region.
"There are only few games that would suit the Middle East's morals more than WALL-E. The game depicts family virtues through a fun and adventurous story line," said Luke Keighran, THQ Export Sales & Marketing Manager, in a press release. Despite the fact that the area has been ignored by game developers as a strong market, THQ seems to think that this might change in the future. According to Keighran, "We do hope it will be the first of a long line up for Arabic titles in the future."
That more games aren't localized for the geographic region seems unsurprising, when one stops to think about it: between the comparatively small gaming populations and intense cultural differences from the Western countries, the Middle East probably makes for an incredibly challenging market for game developers. The game, which is due out in the Middle East on June 27 (the film will come out on July 3 in that region), will be available in both English and Arabic on the PS3, PSP and 360, but will also be sold in an English-only format on PlayStation 2, PC, DS and Wii.

رد مقتبس: Known for his use of quirky instruments, Thomas Newman doesn’t disappoint in this score with an impressive array, many of which have never been heard of by this reviewer before. The result is a score that has a sound and a unique style that is a complete departure from the typical generic/landscape music so prevalent in much of the soundtracks from the 21st Century. Thomas brewed a mixture of science fiction, comedy, broadway, romantic, his own style and sound, and a generous portion of overdubs and mixing from his staff to create a one of a kind signature score, one that won’t be forgotten easily.
